When the number of scheduled messages on a single channel exceeds the recommended limit, you might want to reschedule sends. Pushing these messages to another day will help ensure your emails are deployed and you don’t ruin your reputation.
Here’s how to easily reschedule messages for another day:
- Click on the item in your Timeline. You will be redirected to the Search view with the Channel and Next activity filters applied, so that just the campaigns counted towards the respective total in Timeline are shown.
- Select a number of sends you want to reschedule. If you need to reschedule a significant number of campaigns, it might be a good idea to do so in a few batches, so they are sent over several days.
Tip: You can select a range of prospects by clicking on the first prospect in the range and then the last one while holding down the Shift key.
- Once you selected the prospects to reschedule, click Group Actions button from the actions bar and choose Pause. Once your screen refreshes, click Group Actions again and choose Schedule continuation. Then simply select the new date and time you would like the messages to deploy.
Remember that messages won’t necessarily send immediately after the campaign is resumed. They will be sent at a time that complies with all the send rules set up in the cadence. Consider the time of day you are rescheduling the messages for deployment. Also, make sure your cadence allows for the message to be sent on the day you are rescheduling.
